How many times have you tried to lose weight and failed? If you’re anything like me you’ve had quite a number of failures. Let’s face it – failing time and again is an awful experience. I know I feel like a complete failure every time it happens. My main reason for giving in is because I feel so hungry all the time. I know I have to cut down on calories. At the same time, I also know I have to eat in order to be healthy. The last thing I want is to put even more stress on my level of health by starving myself. If only I could find an appetite suppressor to take the edge off the hunger pains. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to stop eating completely. That would be devastating to my health. I just want to be able to cope with eating fewer calories in a day by not feeling ravenous all the time.
I know all about self discipline and sticking to the diet plan. Believe me, I’ve read all the books. But for me, it’s not about self discipline at all. It’s all about those hunger pains. When I go to work or have to take care of the kids my mind is on how hungry I’m feeling. I just can’t concentrate on what I’m doing. Eventually I just can’t handle it any more and reach for the nearest candy or cookies. In fact anything that will alleviate the pangs of hunger and allow me to concentrate will do. So many times I’ve thought if only I had an appetite suppressor to help me out a little. A healthy diet plan is going to give me less calories so I lose weight but at the same time I will be getting enough food to be healthy. I really want to stick with a proper plan but every time the hunger pains get in the way.
